Hello!

I’m Lindsey Jo Scott (she/her).

I am an artist, designer, and writer. My artwork is informed by my background in art and design, my education in mindfulness, as well as my own experience of healing and self-discovery. I’ve been writing and making art for as long as I can remember. It’s how I make sense of who I am, and what’s happening around me.

For decades, I’ve been studying psychology, spirituality, philosophy, and ancient wisdom traditions on a quest to make sense of this human experience and to understand how to make good use of my life. Like all humans, I’ve lived through trauma, grief, heartbreak, and overwhelm and through it all, I have come to understand how creativity helps us heal our deepest divides and build a better world. This belief - that we change the world through art and story - is what inspires me to keep creating and sharing my work.

My art is also influenced by my experiences as a late-identified Autistic woman living with invisible disabilities and ADHD. I believe that art is our best medicine, and stories are our cure, and my intention is to share my story from a place of inspiring compassion, connection, understanding, healing, calm, joy, and hope.

I currently live in New York City with my partner Brad and our girl cat, Tiger. I like to make a lot of different things: illustrations, patterns and prints, textile art, comics, books, mixed media videos, animations, greeting cards, and more. I enjoy reading, walking in the woods, dancing, swimming, and merging words with shapes and colors.
